Sok történet szól erröl a barlangról.<br /> <br /> Az egyik leghíresebb történet a Pielach völgy történetében a következö:<br /> <br /> ==Egy vekni kenyér a Nix barlangból==<br /> <br /> Egy szegény földmüvelö végezte a munkáját nem messze a Nix barlangtól. Egyszercsak kiabálást hallott a barlangból &quot; Hozz´ kenyeret, hozz kenyeret!&quot;. A szegény földmüvelö nagyon megijedt. Mivel nagyon kiváncsi és bátor ember volt, ezért bement a barlangba. Miközben követte a járást egy hatalmas terembe ért. Sok törpét és sellöt talált itt, akik szorgalmasan sütötték a kenyeret. Egy törpe odament a földmüveshez, adott neki egy vekni kenyeret a kezébe és ezt mondta:&quot;Szelj le a kenyérböl és meglátod sosem lesz kevesebb belöle. De vigyázz, senkinek sem mondhatod el ezt a titkot!&quot;. &lt;br&gt;<br /> A földmüves nagyon örült és gyorsan haza sietett. Azonnal vágott a kenyérböl és megbizonyosodott, hogy a törpe igazat mondott. A kenyér sosem fogyott el. Többször is megpróbálta, de a kenyérböl mindig ugyanannyi maradt. Annyira megörült, hogy elmesélte a feleségének ezt a rejtélyes titkot.&lt;br&gt;<br /> <br /> Egy idö után elterjedt a faluban, hogy a szegény földmüvesnek és feleségének mindig elegendö kenyere van a házban. Kérdezösködtek a földmüves feleségétöl, hogy ez hogyan lehetséges. Mivel nem volt felkészülve a kérdésre és nem volt hihetö történet a tarsolyában, ezért elmesélte az igaz történetet. Ettöl a perctöl kezdve, a kenyér folyamatosan fogyott.
